Man Charged for Stealing 3 Pairs of Tennis Shoes

According to police officers with the Secaucus Police Department, a 41-year-old Jersey City man was taken into custody after he allegedly stole three pairs of tennis shoes. The incident reportedly occurred at the UPS facility where the man worked.

Officers reported to the UPS package delivery facility at 7:48 a.m. on March 15 after they were called. The 41-year-old man was taken into custody and was processed and then released. He was charged with theft. Officers reported that the value of the sneakers was $1,160, but they did not state what brand of shoes they were.

Police officers also responded to the UPS facility on March 6 because of another theft report. In that incident, the officers took a 20-year-old Jersey City man into custody on an outstanding warrant. Nobody was charged with theft in that incident. The 20-year-old man reportedly posted his bond and was released from custody.
